Happy Monday, friends! A new week means another opportunity to start again, so I thought it would be the perfect time to talk skincare. So many of you have reached out over the last few months with questions about my routine. To be honest, it’s taken years of trial and error to figure what works best for my skin. I’m going to share some information regarding my top products below. For reference, I have normal-to-dry skin, which used to be prone to hormonal acne. Now, let’s get into it... First off, the only cleanser I use is lovephilosophy’s “Purity Made Simple”, so if you need a place to start, that’s what I’d recommend. It will take away every stitch of dirt, oil buildup and makeup without drying you out. On the days I need more of a polish, I’ve come to LOVE tula’s “poreless” berry scrub. It smells amazing, is made with good-for-you ingredients and *actually* does wonders on my pores. I love olehenriksen’s vitamin C cream for a day time moisturizer and his alt-retinol (plant-based) cream at night. When it’s time to apply makeup (or skip the foundation, since this has a beautiful tint), I let my moisturizer dry down then apply #Tula’s #FaceFilter primer and #GoldenHour eye balm. I’ve been OBSESSED with Tula’s various eye balms for years, but I find myself reaching for Golden Hour more and more because of how it diffuses my dark circles.
